Appearance Although having a slightly boxy appearance the Fusion is elegant. It is taller than most saloon/hatch back type vehicles and stands out from the crowd. It is easy to find in the car park if like me you can’t always remember exactly where you left it.
Comfort I find the car to be extremely comfortable. It is easy to get in and out of (no more snagged tights or dangling the hem of a long skirt in the puddles). There is plenty of legroom essential for my long legged and getting longer son. The ride can be a little firm but the car handles well and makes you confident on corners and bends. The only real criticism I can give is that there is a lot of road noise from the tyres but this is easily remedied by turning up the Wagner on the CD.
Economy The published data is as follows Urban Driving 54.3mpg, Extra Urban Driving 72.4mpg and Combined 64.2mpg. To date with just over 3500 miles on the clock I am averaging 52mpg combined which is some 12 mpg less than advertised a large discrepancy which I intend to discuss with the supplier.

My Opinion Overall I have been pleased with my new Ford Fusion although the engine is a little underpowered causing me to use the gears more than I would like. When the car is already moving at 10mph my previous cars would move away in second gear but I have to go to first in the Fusion. It looks good, feels good and handles well. I would highly recommend this.
Advantages: FUEL CONSUMPTION Disadvantages: BOOT SPACE LIMITED
The Fusion’s no ball of fire, but it’s happy enough in town. Both petrol engines need working hard and the 1.4 can struggle out of town, particularly when laden. The 1.4 diesel’s low-down pull makes it the easiest engine day to day, there’s also a new 1.6 diesel. The 1.4 petrol can be specified with Ford’s Durashift automatic gearbox.
The Fusion is based on the Fiesta but it isn’t as good to drive. It still handles better than many superminis and ... ...more lean through bends and the ride is even firmer.
Neither of the petrol engines is particularly smooth at high revs, a fact which is exaggerated because they need working so hard. The 1.4 diesel is more settled at speed, but offensively noisy and rattly around town. The Fusion’s cabin is noisy at motorway speeds – you’ll find yourself cranking up the stereo to drown out the excessive wind and road noise. The Fusion driver sits even higher than ...

Advantages: Has a Lot of room Disadvantages: Small Boot, £1.05 per litre
This is a great car I've been driving it for few months now, took me a while to get used to as it is different from most cars.
Firstly as u may notice this car is slightly taller so the seats are higher so it feels different already from driving any other car. But this is useful as it is easier to spot where you have parked it.
One of the Main things about this car is the fact that the inside is very spacey. There is a lot of room for me to put ... ...seats have a lot of room. Although there are advantages to the car having a lot of room I think this car has a bit too much room. I've noticed that the car is very wide so when I park it feels like I have to go closer to the curb than I do with other cars that I've driven.
I've also found that the back window looks smaller than other cars as it is not slanted like the cars I've driven. This makes it more difficult to see. But when you get used to ...
