I recently was allocated the Ford Ka 1.3 Copper from a hire company after specifiy I only wanted a small car for the weekend. I found the car to be very confortable in the front, both on the driver and the passenger side. I am only 5ft 3 but despite the snug cockpit and the feeling that it was designed for the girlies, this girlie still found the seatbelt across her throat instead of her chest where the anchorage point was too high. The cockpit itself was modern with white easy to read dials and the seating was very supportive to my back. The rear seating was sporty looking and comprised of two main seats. There was plenty of boot space. My main gripe with this car came when driving at night. On dipped beam, the lights only picked out the cat eyes about one car length ahead giving the impression that the lights were only on side lights or something. By flicking the headlights onto high main beam, the effect was then rather like ordinary dipped beam on other cars. Driving in the fog, as I had to do at times made the situation even worse. I did wonder if this was a fault specific to the particular car that I had that weekend but I am now certain there is a design fault there. My reason for this is that I followed home from work, another Ford Ka in darkness along an unlit main 'A' road. As I was behind, I dropped back to a distance far enough behind to keep my own headlamps from shining on or too near to the Ford Ka. I could then see quite clearly that the headlights on the Ford Ka nicely lit up the grass verges and the drivers offside of the road sidewards but hardly any light was being shone ahead. I would urge anyone buying this vehicle to test drive it in darkness on an unlit road with cat eyes. My experience with this vehicle and what I have seen deters me from considering this otherwise nice car as a purchase.

I agree with the other comment; a bit one sided about the head lights, especially as I own a Ka, and have had no problems with the head lights. DId you know that they were adjustable, and that you can set the dipped lights at high or low. That could explain why they were poor, or it could just be you had one that hadn't been aligned properly.

Good op but its only on a specific point of the car. You need to give more detail on the rest of the car to allow others to form their own opinons of weather its worth buying.
Advantages: Very nice to drive,Good handling,Nippy Car, Disadvantages: After you do around 40,000 the car usually starts to fall to pieces and collapse on you
