The Ford KA, officially an icon for Ford. The Ka was introduced in 1996 and my girlfriend bought the 1998 KA 1 model as her first car. It was obviously a 3-door model (the only option) but it was in a weird colour, it looked like brown, grey and silver mixed into one, but it was listed in the logbook as grey. The KA was originally designed to only have black plastic bumpers so in the event of a minor crash they could easily and cheaply be replaced. ...

A cheap but average car

Advantages: Surprisingly quick, great handling and very safe
Disadvantages: No space, Looks poor, Uncomfortable

Ford KA 1

Advantages: Handling, reliability
Disadvantages: lack of luxuries.

My first little car!

Advantages: fun to drive, nippy, quirky
Disadvantages: not tonnes of space, low(ish) safety rating, not many gadgets in basic versions

small ar with big idea

Advantages: easy to drive
Disadvantages: small boot

...is narrow! The ford KA though is very reliable, it does well with petrol as I'm only ever filling it up once a month, and as of yet nothing has gone wrong with it.
