One of the best cars I've owned is the 1994 Ford Mondeo 1.8 Turbo Diesel. I've had it for over 4 years now, but despite clocking up over 194,000 miles on it, I've had no major problems, and it's still going strong. It's excellent on fuel, and gets 50-55 miles to the gallon, and with these soaring petrol/diesel prices, it's definitely an advantage. The Mondeo has a nice body style, and a sunroof for those rare warm days. It comfortably seats 5 people, and because it's a hatchback, should you want to carry large items, the back seat folds down and gives you loads of room. With it's superb sound system, and smooth ride, driving the Mondeo is a pleasure.
