My husband and I own a red 2003 convertible Mustang GT 4.6 . This is a beautiful car and the performance is above standard. The sound of the exhaust is very rich and pleasant for car lovers.

The comfort level inside the car is very poor for back seat passengers with limited leg and head space. For the driver it is fair according to myself. My husband is taller and does not agree with my view of an design problem for shorter people.

Although Ford improved the engineering for comfort since the 2000 Mustang which we previously owned, the seat , pedals and stick shift are all a bit too far for ease of reach for myself. I am 5'1" and in order to reach everything while driving it requires that I continually shift my body to reach the clutch and the stick shift . By then my seat is moved up too close to the steering wheel and I find this to be a hindrance to my comfort and a danger in case of an accident whereby the air bag could really hurt me.

Needless to say, I do not drive it as often as I would like because it is a head turner and feels good being in such a lovely car.

    No good for me then as I am only short too and hate having to be right on top of the steering wheel. Fionaxx
