I bought my new Puma from Sandicliffe in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire.
So far I am happy with the service (I have only had the car since middle of January though!). I had been to another Ford dealer in Derby, and been given the best price they could do. I then went to the Sandicliffe garage and asked them to beat this price, which they did - albeit by a few pounds! I bought the car on a Finance package similar to Options.
Once I had agreed the price, everything was reasonably plain-sailing. I originally wanted the car a week later than I actually picked it up, but asked the garage if I could collect it a week earlier, which they sorted out for me, under a tighter timescale.
The salesperson answered a few questions on the spec that I had over the phone during the time leading up to the handover. I was worried I may get an 'old stock' car not up to the latest spec, due to the deal I had got. The car was to the latest spec, however. :)
Since picking the car up, I have noticed a minor problem - the boot light does not work. I phoned up the salesperson, and she said it is OK for me to take the car in any time to have this sorted.
I have used the service area before, for my previous car, and have been happy with the servicing done on this. The garage give a discount card to their customers - buying a car customers - which entitles you to 10% off parts, labour and Bodyshop work, and entitles you to free collection and delivery, so you needn't disrupt you working schedule!
I have also had a problem with one of the rear mats for my Puma, it not fitting the profile of the floor space. The garage are trying to sort out the problem and are ordering new mats and speaking to Ford to get the correct shape. They were very helpful and apolagetic.
I would recommend this garage to anyone wishing to get themselves a good service, or a good deal!
