Tell somebody that you have a Ford and immediately you've created an image of a salesperson, driving about looking for somebody to pounce apon for their next sale. You think of cheap, run of the mill, unreliable and every other bad thing you can mention regarding cars. But I am going to put the record straight and tell you the old Ford lives no more. So first, lets take everybody’s favourite, the mondeo. Has that salesman image crept back into your head? Well let’s analyse this for a moment. If the mondeo is a poor quality car and is unreliable, then why do over 30% of UK companies use them as company cars? It’s not because they are cheap, because there are cheaper options (eg Skoda Octavia), it is because they are good, and now with the new mondeo out, they are also stylish and attractive. Second we should take the Focus. Now this car has been named as best car in it’s class by many, BBC Top Gear being one, remembering that you have car like the Volkswagen Golf and the Audi A3 in this class, the new diesel engine was named as best diesel engine available, and the car is at the fore front of styling. Lastly we’ll take the Puma. This car has been named as What Carmagazines best coupe under £20,000 for the past 4 years. To build any car and for it to still be topping the charts 4 years later is a massive achievement. There is also the Ka, fiesta, Galaxy and Explorer with all compete at the highest levels in their classes. So to sum it all up, next time your in the market for a new car, nick into your local Ford dealer and have a look about, because if you’re an independent person, and can live with the comments made by people that drive BMW’s and Mercs who, truthfully, would not know a good car if it drove into them at 100mph, then you may pick up the best car you’ve ever driven.

Good op, but I would argue some of the points. The Focus may have been top of it's class but it is MASSIVELY overpriced. You can still pick up a brand new Escort with equivalent spec for about £8000 rather than the £13500+ of the Focus. You might want to check out my op on Ford, it may open your eyes a bit to what goes on at Ford. It's called "The insiders story on Ford". Dave.
Advantages: Main Dealership, better resale value with Main Dealership servicing.Fantastic products.Easy location Disadvantages: After sales service pathetic.Expensive parts.Shoddy workmanship.Monopoly
