Advantages: THE greatest programme EVER. Disadvantages: Team Knight Rider
...Knight Rider, truly THE greatest programme of the 1980s.
It kinda reminds me of my childhood, even just hearing the music still sends a shiver down my spine. K.I.T.T., although only a car (only is clearly the wrong word), stands out as the lead character in the show. How? Well, for those of you who have never seen the programme the car has an in-built AI known as K.I.T.T., voiced by the man who went on to play Mr. Feeney in Boy Meets World. Somehow, K.I.T.T. always managed to upstage his able sidekick Michael Knight, played by David Hasselhoff. He had the perm, the black leather jacket, the ladies but always managed to get himself into a tight situation that only K.I.T.T. could get him out of, with a little help from his friends...

Advantages: An excellent show full of action and humour Disadvantages: No extras on the DVD and it isn't in order.

He is matched with a special car, named KITT (knight industries two thousand) which is capable of independant thought and also has a sense of humour!
David Hasselhoff...

...Knight Rider can be classed as many things, sci-fi, adventure, action, but drama?!?!? Understandably it took me a while to find this little gem, hidden away by Ciao as it is (yes I know I could have used the Search box but it would have robbed me of this less than scintilating intro). So now I've found it I suppose I'd better get my magic memory hat on and start trawling through my encyclopeadia of a memory (or should that be pamphlet?).
Few things define an era like it's TV. I know this is a somewhat glib statement, but to me (born early 70's) TV crystalises a period and brings back fond memories. So when someone mentions the early 80's, what springs to mind? A black van with a gold chained hard man, a big black helicopter (with no plot), a couple of pathetic British efforts (did I hear Dempsey and Makepeace mentioned...
