Advantages: Tons of information, Easy to read and find what you need, Factually accurate. Disadvantages: Some information is repeated, A section on the blocks used in house building would of been nice.
With MySims being such an open ended game, the Prima guide is not a walkthrough, and is instead an encyclopaedia of the games essences, the different Sims themselves, tasks you ca do for them, the rewards and a list of all the blueprints (I understand this may confuse someone not familiar with MySims but I will assume if you are reading this, you are familiar with the games content)
Degree of Information
There is a lot of content in the guide, at 175 pages long it is quite thick, but there is a lot of information packed into it. A few pages of introduction and explaining what the game is about there are six major chapters. The first is the intro, the second explains the basics, how to navigate, how to build and paint furniture and explaining the essence types and how to get them.
The third chapter describes the Sims you can move ...
Advantages: Helps you understand how to play the sims 2 Disadvantages: You may follow certain storylines and be afraid to explore the game
This is very useful if you are new to the game. When I first started playing the game I did not have this which resulted in most of my families dying out. Once I purchased the guide I found out where I was going wrong, it also offers help and advice as well as many tips as to how the game works.
The guide also includes full career listings which includes how much you get paid for each job and what hours you work. As well as this, the guide lists all objects in the game as well as their descriptions and what effects they have on your sims. Sim relationships are also explored in the guide which tells you how you can improve or decrease someone's relationship with another sim by listing all the interactions and what effects the have on sim relations.
The guide gives you tips on how to manage the pre-made Maxis families which come ...
Advantages: Great characters and story Disadvantages: None that I can think of

When Fancy arrives in Mellstock she attracts the attention of three eager suitors. There is Farmer Shinar the wealthy ...
