Formula 1

Advantages: See op
Disadvantages: See op

Formula 1 Racing on the PC is a very exhilarating experience. But before I go into the game, let me tell you a bit about Formula One. Formula one is one of the richest sports in the world, it is also amongst the most popular in the world and has on average turnouts of almost 150,000 people per race. With millions of pounds going into this sport, it is no wonder that it has such high standards. The aim of the game is to win the championship by attaining as many points as possible. This is done by winning races or coming in the top 6 in a race. The scoring system is as follows. 1st ? 10pts 4th ? 3pts 2nd ? 6pts 5th ? 2pts 3rd ? 4pts 6th ? 1pt There are 11 teams in all; each consists of two drivers and 3 cars (one is spare). There are 17 races altogether and are hosted in 17 different countries. There ...

Formula 1's Jewel In The Crown

Advantages: The Grand Prix of all Grand Prix's
Disadvantages: Monaco ain't cheap!

FORMULA 1 MONACO GRAND PRIX - MONTE CARLO Now, I was fortunate enough to attend the Monaco Grand Prix in 2001, on an incredibly hot, but glorious May afternoon. This Grand Prix is the Jewel In the Crown of the Formula 1 Racing season and the most eagerly awaited of all the races. Despite the current boring predictability of Formula 1 racing, Monte Carlo is probably the one race circuit likely to throw up a wild card winner. Although, things did go true to form during my attendance, when a certain Mr Michael Schumacher was victorious in Millionaires playground. Packages for the weekend can range from circa £1,500-£2,500 with the specialist tour companies, who provide packages including return flight to the U.K, 2 nights stay in 3-5 star accommodation, airport transfers, and balcony viewing for the main event. Conclusion, it ...

Review of Formula 1 Circuit, Monte Carlo, Monaco

the formula 1 circus

Advantages: none its crap
Disadvantages: cars go round and round never overtaking

this sport is a joke. The cars go round and round in circles never overtaking. In fact all the over taking takes place in the pit lane. Its a sad and sick state of affairs when the only interesting thing are the crashes which can result in deaths. I can't believe its on the TV for 3 days, it ruins my weekend forcing me to go out to the pubs and clubs to engage in flirtatious convesations with members of the opposite sex. The drivers hardly have to drive the cars there is so much electronic wizardrey available. It is a waste of petrol and a waste of money. When Bernie Ecllestone threatened to move F1 to the far east as a result of the ciggerette sponsership debate, I thought go on then pal, no one's gonna miss ya. touring cars and more so rallying is so much better with the cars we can actually relate to and own and real driving ability ...
