Advantages: Subwoofer, Different Connections Disadvantages: Unchangable Radio Frequencies
I bought this chair at the same time as Call of Duty 4, and they go very well together. There are 3 ways to connect sound to the chair. Firstly with the Aux In, there is a cable provided which allow connections to the TV with the headphone adaptor, or the red and white inputs. This means that it is possible to connect it straight to a console if you are using the scart socket. Secondly, there is a radio transmitter included which plugs into the headphone of the source. There are 3 different settings on the chair and transmitter. This means that there should be a free frequency which can be used. I could only use 2 out of the 3 because a radio station happens to have the same frequency as one of the preset frequencies. It would have been better if you could select a frequency, instead of having to use the presets. Thirdly there is ...
Advantages: Solid pro build, balanced AES/EBU ins and outs, Timecode included. Disadvantages: Older DAT tape recording format, limited to 16 bit 48k max sample rate.
This is an old workhorse of the DAT variety. Solid build 2 channel recorder, 3 channel mixer. Hosts of extras and options including 48v phantom power, limiters, LF rolloff, up to -30dB attenuation pads, extensive Timecode included! AES/EBU balanced analogue and digital ins and outs. Used by the BBC and film companies before the new generation of solid state / HD recorders and still in use by many sound engineers.
A thoroughly professional DAT recorder at 16/48 resolution, which is perfectly adequate for many music, dialogue and general recording tasks. DAT tapes are still available so still a good backup recorder with timecode.
Build quality and performance 5 stars! Would have to rate at 4 stars overall due to lower bit rate and sampling rate by contemporary standards and the old tape DAT format being replaced by HD and other ...

Advantages: Ease of use and worlds best Disadvantages: Huge! Very costly.
I am what you would describe as a fitness freak and have used many pieces of gym equipment. The Concept 2 Rower is bar far the most superior rower I have used. I use the Model E which is a newer version of the rower and immediately recongised by the frame being higher off the ground allowing a raised seating position which in my opinion is a far more natural and comfortable position.
This rower is fitted with a performance Monitor known as PM4, simply the key pad you enter the distance/time and so forth. Being wireless enabled allows you to actually race another rower using a concept 2, as well as wireless heart rate monitoring.
The rower even has a game function which allows you to actually add some enjoyment into your workout, it consists of a simple fish game where you must avoid the larger fish and eat the smaller ones ...
