Fox's biscuits were established in 1853. They are made in Batley, England.

Fos'x Triple bars are available in a pack of 12 individually wrapped biscuits for 99p from Tesco. Other major supermarkets will also stock them.

Each biscuit is wrapped in a mainly red wrapper with Fox's & Triple printed over the word 'Chocolatey which covers the red wrapper. The wrapper is zig -zagged at each end to allow for easier opening by tearing downwards. Each wrapper also included information regarding the ingredients and the best before date.

Fox's Triple.

Upon opening the biscuit, the smell is nothing distinctive, just a sort of sweet smell and I can smell midly, oats and coconut.

The biscuit is 2 layers of biscuit with a layer of chocolate through the middle.
The taste is oaty and very mildy coconut. It is not overly sweet, I expected sweet because of the chocolate but it is nice, about right. The chocolate is just noticeable and balances the dryness of the oats well.
The texture is a bit like shortbread, fairly dry and crumbly.

The appearance of the biscuit is something I feel could be better. There are bits of chocolate that have escaped from the filling and found their way onto the outsides of the biscuit. It's nothing really but I presume from putting the biscuit in its wrapper before the chocolate has fully set.

And so to another great British tradition 'Dunking Biscuits.'
After dunking the biscuit in my coffee for about 2-3 seconds, the biscuit is still crunchy but now now and moist and warm. The chocolate has softened around the edge but has not yet melted.

Nutritional Information.

Each biscuit provides:
Energy………………..100 kcal
Protein…………………1.2 gm
Carbohydrates………...12.0 gm
Of which sugars….…..6.3 gm
Fat …………………..…5.3 gm
Of which saturates..….2.7 gm
Fibre……………….…..0.5 gm
Sodium……………..….0.1 gm

The ingredients are listed on the packet and also contains the following note for allergies I presume.
Contains: Wheat, Gluten, Soya, Cows Milk

There is also the following note on the packet.
'This product has been made in a factory that uses nut ingredients.

All in all, would I recommend this biscuit, the answer would have to be a definite yes. They keep their freshness very well as they are sealed individually and they taste great, a good balance between biscuit and sweetness. I would give them 10 out of 10.
