Secondly, the onboard graphics solution is abysmal and is only fit for an office which wouldnt really need multimedia usage. Thirdly, the PCI-E slot actually only runs at x4, so the newest graphics cards cannott perform at their best. Also, you have to remember to change jumper settings before installing a PCI-E card or otherwise it wont work.
Thirdly, it has next to no overclocking potential with the SATA connectors ceasing to work at 268x4mhz fsb.
And finally, it only supports 533mhz RAM w/o any overclocking of the FSB.
My recomendation is avoid all intel 945gz based motherboards at all costs. ...

I was building a new PC and I came across this motherboard. It is a microATX board so is alot smaller than any ATX board so therefore has the disadvantage of not having much opportunity for expansion.
There are only three PCI slots which is fine if you do not require many but considering that a modem, soundcard and now wireless cards need PCI slots then this does not leave many options if you wish to install these.
