One fatal motherboard - A8N SLi

Advantages: Many over normal boards
Disadvantages: price above average

(blinks icons for email etc) and displays frequency and voltage. So what you think !! - Well the difference with this is that you can overclock your pc while in game by using preset overclock features and monitor system performance while doing so, if it's struggling you can then switch back. ~ The motherboard ~ As stated in the specification it's a socket 939 with 1 PCI Express x16, 2 PCI Express x1, 3 32-bit/33MHz, 4 184pin DIMMs or PC3200 memory, 4 USB 2.0 ports, gigabit Lan port, 1 firewire port and a separate sound card. Don't be fooled by some reviews stating this has ATA - 150 support only, it actually supports Sata II on 4 channels which is ATA-150 compatible, the other 2 ports are ATA-133. The motherboard uses Nforce Ultra chipset with a 6-channel audio via nForce4 integrated audio and ALC658 codec PCIE sound card ...

Review of ABIT Fatal1ty AN8 SLi - motherboard - ATX - nForce4 SLI

Cruddy motherboard that should be scrapped

Advantages: Supposed to be the bees knees
Disadvantages: more like a knacked nag - only fit for the glue factory

I own one of these and THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE MONEY. It is slow to start up It is finnicky It is, like all motherboards, poorly designed so that you can\'t get the full use out of the expansion slots. It does odd things - sometimes the fans don\'t run at full speed, sometimes the LED post at the back flashes when the PC is off - sometimes it freezes for no reason. It hates CPU\'s, RAM, GPU\'s and anything else you put on it. I had to clear the CMOS just to get it to accept my Core 2 Duo E6600 chip. It hates having more than 2Gb of RAM in it, so I was forced to RMA my other 2 Gb of Crucial Ballistix RAM. It hates my Graphics Cards - 2 Sparkle Calibre 7950GT cards. It takes quite a while to \"check\" the CPU, RAM, GPU/s etc. This is one very poor board. It isn\'t just Asus\'s fault - even though they have been slow to ...
