The Framlington investment funds are probably the most profitable area in which I have ever put my faith and money.
The initial account charges are low, amounting to no more than 1%, in the areas in which I have invested. However, more importantly they have collectively out-performed any other unit trust or PEP over the last 10 years, with the Income fund in particular gaininh 230% in the last 12 months.

The Health fund is ethically run and does not invest in the somewhat dubious areas engaged by certain funds, allowing peace of mind and a clear conscience as one watches the fund grow.

Advantages: Explosive potential, ethical, well managed Disadvantages: Impact of 'mob rule' consumer investing, high risk
OK. This fund has massive potential. Why? Well
1. It is well managed with a spread of investments both in terms of global markets (mostly USA/Europe) and within the 'health' sector.
2. It is ethical. Might not matter to you but it does to me. 3. It is the leading fund within what is going to be the biggest growth sector since, well, ever. Probably. Having studied genetic theory at university I have kept up with the subject and am absolutely astonished ... ...few years. Admittedly a lot of things like cancer are the product of the environment and a combination of genetic defects, but this is not the point. There are genes that will give people much greater resistance to cancer so if thereapy is used to put this gene in cancer sufferers it is entirely possible to cure the disease, or at least prevent it. The fact is that unless ...

Advantages: Wide variety of funds for all risk levels, low rates for changing funds Disadvantages: Needs an independant advisor
Skandia (web site skandia.co.uk) offer a range of unit trust based investiment oppertunities. They charge at competitive rates but are not in any way cheap to join but the products have some key advantages.
The first and most substantial advantage is that you get to choose from a wide range of unit trusts. So if you want to open an ISA (MultISA), move your PEP (MultiPEP) or do a straight forward unit trust investiment (Multifund) you can choose from some of the best companies and funs around. You could for example start an ISA with the following funds:
Henderson Global Technology
FramlingtonHealth
Baring UK Small Companys
Threadneedle Americian Select
Aberdeen Fixed Interest
This portfolio would take five years to obtain by taking out individual ISA's with the companies involved. Additionally you can change ...
