Possibley the greatest team EVER. I know this is a big statement but they have quality at every position and depth in some. I always thought of Barthez as a bit of a clown, and I still think he punches too much, but at Euro 2000 he had a great tournament and with Toldo was the best keeper there. At the back they have three of the best defenders in the world at the moment and one who used to be. Blanc is that man and would still walk into most teams. The other three at at the top of their game. In midfield they are awesome and have been led by the workrate of Deschamps and the genius of Zidane. Is there a better player (fit) in the world at the moment. I think Euro 2000 confirmed there isn't. Whatever you think of Deschamps, he has been one of the best midfielders, and a great captian, in his time. On top of this you have the Arsenal pair plus the likes of Dugarry who can't always get a game. Finally up front they have Henry in fantastic form and Anelka so close to greatness and with pace a plenty. On form a great pair. So as you can see you would put them up against any team in history and rate their chances.
