Skinners a success
Review of Frank Skinner - Frank Skinner by
mpPaulos
Advantages: great read
Disadvantages: not enough personal pictures
...this is a great biography from the wonderful Frank Skinner. The book is well written and composed and contains some detailed information and secrets about frank, his youth, his behaviour and most of all his morales.
Frank takes every oppurtunity to poke fun at himself , which proved comical reading. Although a lot of the book is through franks humerous perspective, the book contains chapters that come from Franks heart and which must be appreciated.! There moat captivating chapters are of Franks childhood and his early days as a celebrity. Frank Skinner is a national treasure and his army of loyal fans wont be dissapointed by franks Literature effort. I dont believe enough pictures and photos were added to strenghten the book.
great train time read!...

fkeay
Advantages: Is the sequel to Angela's Ashes
Disadvantages: Can become slightly tedius

Due to Frank being older in this book his life is more interestingly eventful, from joining the army to eventually fulfilling one of his dreams in employment, though being plagued by the ‘Irish Curse’!...

Anne Frank - The Definitive Edition?
Review of The Diary of Anne Frank - Anne Frank by
loumac
Advantages: Unbiased, lively and interesting account.
Disadvantages: There are various editions, each giving a different reflection of Anne as a person.
...The Diary of Anne Frank has reached universal acclaim. Written by a thirteen year old Jewish girl while she and her family hid in a secret annexe in Amsterdam, to avoid being captured by the Gestapo, the diary provides an interesting, lively and straight forward account of life for the young girl during the first few years of World War Two. However, as there are varous different editions of the diary it is not only the content of the diary which is questionable, but also the authenticity of the account. This surely allows Holocaust Revisionists to strengthen their argment, namely that the Holocuast did not take place?
I believe that, for those truly interested in The Dairy of Anne Frank, the Critical Edition of the diary provides most interest. This incorporates all three editions and allows the reader to compare the alterations...
