Advantages: Makes your hair have loads of body and bounce. Disadvantages: Nothing I can think of.
...I have tried many hair mousses in the past, trying to get a mousse which gives good firm control, but at the same time does not frizz my hair. I had tried the shampoo and conditioner from this product range, so thought I would give the styling products a whirl. I couldn't believe the difference in the thickness and fullness of my hair after using this mousse, and my hair looked incredibly shiny and a lot more manageable and less fly away. The proteins in this mousse may have something to do with that, but this mousse does not weigh your hair down, I have got longer length hair as well, and I didn't need to use loads of this product to get a good styling result. Definately a brilliant product which will be crowning my dressing table, unless Elvive come up with another amazing new product....

Advantages: good holding power Disadvantages: bit sticky
...I have been using this mousse for the last two months.
The thing that I love most about this mousse is that it is alcohol free. In my case that means that I do not have an allergic reaction when I use it.
Another great thing is that the bottle is 500ml and this is how much product you get unlike other mousses where you get a large can and half is butane.
like all aveda products this is not tested on animals and also contains all natural based ingredients.
The mousse comes in a plastic bottle which is full of a slightly pink liquid (the colour of the solution has been changed in the last few months). The foam appears when you pump the nozzle. the specially designed bottle whips the pink liquid into firm hold styling foam.
This is a styling product as it has thermal protectors which protect the hair when blowdrying or anyother heat...

Advantages: Light, fair coverage Disadvantages: Completely pointless, not longlasting, doesn't apply as well as liquid
...Well, I won a sample of this Dream Matte Mousse Foundation in a competition, so I can't really complain. It is otherwise priced about £4.99 at the moment, to lure as all into buying, but it will be going up in price to £7.99 in the future - don't know when exactly. So if you want to buy this, get it now when it is cheap. It is $9.99 in the one shop I looked in in the USA, so you may be able to find cheaper US outlets as well.
To be fair to this product, I would not actually have bought it to start with. It seems to be like a completely pointless concept. Liquid foundation works well for me, and I have no desire to switch to mousse. But, having won (hurray!), I obviously have given the product a go. I was using the nude shade, though I would probably normally go for ivory.
This product applies easily and well - imagine smearing Angel...

Unfortunately, being one of the very few people left that doesn't have sky tv and has to just settle for 'normal' tv (i.e 1,2,3 and 4!) means that when a great new series starts on sky one, I either have to wait for the dvd or wait for it to finally... more
When it comes to being different, maybelline's new dream matte mousse definitely deserves a reward. With it's unique little glass bottle packaging and it's strange mousse texture, this is a foundation that is set to be huge worldwide.
