Advantages: (+) Hydrates (+) pure olive oil (+) sleek and shiny hair (+) pleasant scent Disadvantages: (-) taking away one star for the price - designer but still OTT for cream!
What is the product?
The FredericFekkai Glossing Cream is a leave-in cream with the purpose of creating shiny, manageable hair.
What does it actually do?
It provides light control and provides lasting shine. Another great benefit is that it protects the hair from typical and common damage brought about by styling tools and the like.
Furthermore, it guards the hair from the environment with UVA- and UVB- type sunscreens.
It absorbs quickly and does not make your locks greasy (which is a big plus for me!).
Despite the non-greasy claim, I have doubts as to how effective this product is on thin, limp and/or oily hair. Nevertheless, it has won various awards, for example "Best of Sephora 2008", so it may be that this works well with oily-prone hair and the like.
I never applied this product to my roots, in ...
Advantages: (+) Smoothes (+) enhances shine (+) pure olive oil extract (+) proteins, etc. Disadvantages: (-) Highly priced brand (though am willing to pay for long-lasting shampoo)

What I love about this product
The FredericFekkai Glossing Shampoo left me with hair that was healthy, full of bounce and body and radiated a gorgeous, natural shine. Nor did I have any problems with frizz, fly-aways, and such like.
My hair felt much cleaner and the lighter feeling was definitely there: the shampoo had detoxed my hair of all the residue from hair wax and the likes, thus was no longer weighed down with a mixture of styling products!
From personal experience, I would ...
Advantages: Lovely hair colour, shimmery, smooth. Conditioning. Disadvantages: Application is a little annoying, price.
-permanent line of L'Oreal casting crème as I only ever dye my hair semi-permanently as I am too scared of something going wrong and me hating my hair forever. As my hair is so long (it would take probably 5 years to grow the colour out! Eeek!)
since Ciao doesn't have a separate product for semi and permanent this is why my review is in this category. Please don't mistake it for permanent, in fact, I'm not even sure you can get excellence crème in permanent; you'll have to do some snooping! I bought this product at boots and it's normally £6.98, which I think is a little pricey for a semi-permanent hair colour but it was a pound of so I got it for £5.98. To be honest, I think it's still worth the money and I will go into why in a while.
