I needed an external hard drive to store my movies, music and mainly my academic material. I bought this from eBuyer 4 months ago for ...about £45.50.
Design ~~~~~~~~ The size is great! Its slim and I love the design. It's not too big or small and looks great on my desk. Its not heavy, as it weighs less than 4pounds. (WxDxH)4.1 cm x 16.3 cm x 19.1 cm. While the disk is on use, there is a yellow light that is on, which indicated that the disk is "doing something". The base it's not removable, well if it was, the hard drive wouldn't be able to "stand" on your desk.
Ease of use ~~~~~~~~~~~ All you need to do is plug it in and its ready! You don't need any software to install. Just navigate to "My Computer" section from your workstation and view the drive from there.
Speed ~~~~~~~ It's very fast! Its transfers files quickly (always depending on how big the files are)
Performance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I am very happy with the hard disk. I've had no problems at all and it never disappointed me. The Seagate Free Agent lets you transfer your files from your computer via its USB 2.0 connection at a brisk transfer rate of up to 480Mb/sec. The drive delivers a spindle speed of 7,200 RPM, giving you the high-speed performance you need to back up all your information and data quickly and safely. It's worth mentioning that while the disk is working is very quiet. IT doesn't make any noise at all.

My experience ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I found it very useful for saving data, moving data from my laptop hard drive, making backups and keep old files archived. When I went on holiday during Christmas, I packed it in my luggage between my clothes without having any problems.

This drive was a bargain at £20 on an online retailer. I kept it for emergency use in case my other drives failed.
Design
Very good looking, shiny black with yellow trim lines, a stable support platform and small to boot.
I found this drive by chance and just decided that i liked it, and since the price was right, whoosh i bought the thang!
I already have two Western Digital hard drives and so decided to test out a product from a good rival, ... ...my list of good manufacturers. Its presented in a big box, and I was very relieved (and also surprised) to see how small it actually is! It fails to take up much space on your desk or on top of your pc tower. Its a miniscule weight too which means i can hold it in one palm quite easily. The black enclosure case is highly attractive, especially with those glorious trim lines in yellow and i hardly notice the sounds it makes when transferring files, ...
