Advantages: Good value for money Disadvantages: Takes a long time to charge batteries
I had been intending to purchase a batterycharger for quite a while. In fact I had even dropped hints to certain family members around Christmas time, but to no avail. I was recently reminded of this missing piece of equipment in my life when I rediscovered the PC lead to my digital camera. Remembering that a pair of standard batteries lasted for only about 30 photos in this camera I decided that it was certainly time to invest in a batterycharger and some rechargeable batteries.
I purchased an Energizer CHDCW8 ? 4 batterycharger from Argos for just £9.99. This decision was based on several factors, the most important of which was the price and what I considered to be the best value for money. The design also played a part in my decision process, but in the end it was the price/value that were the strongest influencing factors ...
Advantages: Cheap, reliable, long lasting, reasonable price. Disadvantages: Still gets warm. Plastic plug = breakable?
---THE PRODUCT---
Definately glad to be an owner of one of these chargers, even though they seem quite pricey, the batteries are great as they are reusable, and you don't waste money on purchasing darn AA batteries, again and again. It's easy to use, don't take hours to charge like the previous models which took around 8 hours and meant that you had to leave it on over night, worrying that it would heat up and catch the house on fire.
I wouldn't be without this, endlessly purchasing batteries for items. Furthermore you can't use ordinary batteries in Digital Camera's as they are drained after you've took three photo's with the flash on. These therefore are robust and useful in the long run and will save you money and time.

the power of the battery, the higher the number more the power. The higher the power also means they last slightly longer too.
Overall I am very happy with this charger and haven't had any problems what so ever with it. I have charged all the types of batteries it is capable of charging and it charges them with no problems. What makes this different from other chargers is that it's so convenient, you have the charger and batteries and you're ready to go, hassle free. I bought this charger for £8 brand new with batteries included from Ebay. ...
