Very poor quality products

Disadvantages: Lame quality & poor service

I've had to use this lot many times over the last 6 years or so and I'm sure that most of the reviewers here are stooges. There's very little that's easy about easily, their interface has always been very confusing, with lots of tiny icons and legends all over the place with D's W's A's etc, it's all very cryptic. As for features as far as dns goes they're very lack lustre, you can only put in two nameservers if you want to put your DNS somewhere ...

I have been involved in web hosting for over 10 years now and have bought from all the top names.... but never been so badly treated or shocked at basic problems as with fasthosts... Hosted a business website with fasthosts for 5 months, in which time fasthosts seemed to treat my business as an annoyance. The server went down regularly, calling to have it fixed sat in queues, was made to feel i was lucky to get through to anyone. took 2.5 hours, ...

More email problems with FreeParking

Disadvantages: See about the email problems.

I purchased a domain name from Freeparking because of the promise of an included email account with that domain. The email account is virtually useless as it is forever timing out when I am waiting to receive emails. Domain names can be purchased cheaper elsewhere, but I paid the extra to get free email, it, now it seems that I am not getting what I paid for, and continued requests to support seem to make no difference, other than getting a message ...

I am now looking to transfer the domain name to another company because reliable email has become an important part of life, fortunately, I only set up a couple of test email accounts with FreeParking in order to check out the service, and I am glad I didn't commit myself further. DON'T BOTHER, THESE ARE REAL COWBOYS

Advantages: Sound cheap but then all the payments start
Disadvantages: They are there to make a lot of money out of you. Nightmare customer services.

They come up first on google searches and make it seem they are very cheap to own a domain name. I also got charged for a domain for which they were not registrars. I eventually bought my domain name for £1.99 but I should have gone for my usual provider 1&1. All the charges then start. You have to pay £12 a year to prevent their ads appearing on your site! Advantages: Easy to use, looks professional, very cheap!
Disadvantages: lack of fonts, some features require advanced knowledge
