Since Lycos 'updated' in 2006, I have been flooded with spam emails, sometimes up to 30 a day. Some are written entirly in chinnese, or other languages that I do not recognise, some do not contain my correct address, so how are they getting through. WARNING this site can spam you BADLY

Disadvantages: To much oppurtunity to get spammed

I while ago, a few emails were coming into my in-box from "shagmail", and I thought, huh?, but ignored them and just deleted. Although then, more and more started to arrive, until there were about 40 different e-mails coming per day. I realised that someone had signed me up to email newsletters. OK, well you would have thought that you could just op-out of them or they should at least have to be confirmed by you, before they start to flood in. So ...
...the end. You need to unsubscribe yo each type of newsletter individually, which would take hours. So this has forced me to change my email address. I went to their site, and you see how very easy it is for someone to start to spam you, because you just check boxes for what type of mails you want, all a spammer needs to do is check all the boxes, and fill in your email address, all of these emails need no confirmation or anything. Phone number was down for a week, $4000 in damages

Advantages: Virtual PBX is a powerful enabling tool for small companies.
Disadvantages: Onebox.com provides inconsistent service that is financially devastating to small companies.

My company pays about $100 per month for Onebox pbx service. Our number has been active for 4 years and is the main line that all of our customers have to reach us. Our number became inoperational early one day and Onebox informed us that they would have it up by the evening which already cost a few hundred dollars in lost revenue.
