I've had one of these for 4 months, luckily for me I only used it to backup files already on my hard discs. After 4 months the device locked up completely and I have had to send it for repair/replacement.
It's not the easiest device to set up - if all goes well you can get it working in a few minutes but if not it can be a nightmare. Make sure you download the latest firmware as it always contains usefull extras that make using the FSG easier. The major downside is the fact that all data is lost when the unit is sent for repair - NO DATA WILL BE RETURNED TO YOU.
Overall I am very dissapointed with this item and cannot recommend it for people who need to retrieve data from the device that is not backed up elsewhere.
