Advantages: Fast, high capacity storage. Well built, looks good. 2 year warranty, No fan. Disadvantages: No fan.
recover a full PC with all its partitions so I used something a bit more industrial in strength. I will have to have a look though as the manufacturers web site says the CD also contains encryption, compression and synchronisation tools.

I bought this drive because it was cheap but had no great expectations. I can safely say I was proved utterly wrong in all my preconceptions. It's built like a tank and feels like a really solid and high quality piece of equipment and looks much better than the picture would indicate. The capacity is good, the speed is great and the price right now is excellent. If you need something for backing up or keeping big chunks of data such as movies, I can't recommend the Freecom 400Gb enough. a 2 year warranty is the icing on the cake. ...
Advantages: Simple Setup, great value for money Disadvantages: Win 2000/XP/Vista only - not for Win 98/ME
I have previously purchased a Freecom 500 GB external drivedrive and have been very happy with it's performance and reliability. So when the drive started to become 80% full it was time to look for some additional storage. I saw the new Freecom 1TB drive on Amazon and given my previous good experiences purchased one straight away. It arrived this morning (Tuesday) having ordered in the previous Friday, and all of this post free.
For anyone that hasn't bought a Freecom external hard drive before, you get a very stylish drive unit, power adapter, leads and installation disk. Installing (in my case) took less than 5 minutes, most of the time was spent unpacking the pieces.
Simply attached the usb lead, power pack and switched on. Instantly recognised by the Windows XP operating system as the next drive letter.
The unit is virtually ...
Advantages: Easy to use, shuffle mode is good, lots of space Disadvantages: not the latest version (who cares it is cheaper!)
The Ipod Nano 8GB (3G) is an amazing music player. It is really small so you can just put inin a pocket. You control the Ipod Nano with a wheel type thing and this works really well once you have got used to it.
The Ipod can hold loads of songs, videos, photos and even TV episodes and films!
I would not suggest watching a long video on it mind you because the screen is quite small but I have never really tried this properly.
I use my Ipod for all the music I have and just a few photos and videos as well. You can also buy other things for your Ipod through Itunes like videos, films, games, music (obviously) and can also get podcasts which are free. These podcasts are actually quite good and worth looking at considering they are for nothing and can be quite useful and interesting.
This version of the Ipod is a different shape ...
