Advantages Good value, effective for acne treatment.
Disadvantages Still a bit drying - need to use sparingly.
I have used a lot of acne treatments over the years but I have always found that they are too drying and irritating on my sensitive (yet oily!) skin, or else dont do what they are supposed to.I have incredibly sensitive, combination dry/oily skin with moderate acne, making it very difficult to find a product that doesn't irritate my skin and yet helps to get rid of my acne. Most of the time with other products I have had to choose between the pimples and having incredibly red flaky skin.
Freederm Acne Treatment is the best acne treatment that I have tried for my skin - it certainly isnt perfect, but its the best I have found so far! It does irritate my skin to some extent, but not as much as any others I have tried, and it does dry out any pimples overnight. I tend to use it as an 'emergency treatment' if things are looking particularly bad, rather than as a daily treatment. It also dries clear and without any residue, allowing me to apply make-up over it if I need to.It is also a lot cheaper than a lot of the other products that I have tried in the past, making it a lot more feasible to use it long term.
