Advantages Good products for every taste.
Disadvantages Nothing I can think of.
My dad has been a Freemans agent for years, and I can honestly say that this is one of the best catalogues around at the moment. The catalogue itself has sections for every age group from the ultra trendy, womens wear for the older woman, menswear and even baby wear. They also do a wide selection of electrical goods, household items and a childrens section, so if you are looking for a catalogue that has a little bit of everything in it, then this is the one to get.
Every month or so we get their latest sales leaflet, that has loads of bargains on household items and clothes, I have picked up quite a few bargains over the past 12 months or so, it amazes me how they make any money to be honest, because some items are price slashed at around 50%.Delivery is excellent on this catalogue, we order goods and they arrive within two days, some catalogues take forever to deliver goods, but in our area we dont seem to have a problem at all with getting goods delivered quickly and efficiently.
Their returns service is straight forward, you just ring up the local courier and they come and collect the parcel you want to return, once again usually within a day or two of you ringing up.They provide a free telephone number for placing your orders, and they dont charge delivery costs on your orders and you have a 14 day peace of mind guarantee.
Even if you have a product and it is faulty, or if you have had a pair of shoes that has fallen apart in the space of a couple of weeks, like I did forinstance, we just rang up the company, told them that the shoes were faulty, and we had a courier come and pick them up, and within a couple of weeks the account had been credited. The catalogue lay out itself is good and each section has it's own catagory so looking through the catalogue couldn't be simpler, it also has a good a-z index in the back of the catalogue, so if you want to search for a particular item searching could not be easier.
The fashion itself is very up-to-date, not as up to date as the shops in the high street mind you, because the catalogues in my opinion always seem to be a season behind to the shops, but a catalogue is great if you like shopping in the comfort of your own home. The other brilliant thing about home shopping is that you can try on the products in your own home and dont have to worry about going out, trying stuff on and coming out of the dressing room looking like someone who has been dragged through a hedge backwards, and you have the additional 14 days to make up your mind whether you want to keep the goods or not, and everything is convenientally delivered to your front door.
You get a statement each month showing the balance of your account, all products are interest free so you dont pay interest on your account like some catalogues do, and you are required to pay a percentage of your balance at the end of every month.Good if you have a habit of putting loads on your credit card, if you shop with this catalogue you dont get charged any interest.
I must admit I have not used their website yet, as I do find it easier to just look through the catalogue and pick up the telephone to order, they tell you over the telephone whether a product is out of stock, or whether it's going to take longer to deliver than usual, or if there is a waiting time for the product you are ordering, that way you know what is going to arrive and what is not.All in all, a good catalogue, good customer service, nice good quality products, at a good price.
