Freeserve Anytime

I had to write this opinion, you know when you are being told something and you don’t ‘quite’ believe that it is the truth? Like “the cheque is in the post” and other great urban myths! After my dreadful experiences with "The Free Internet" (see my op on them if you're interested), it was time to look for a new ISP. After cancelling my account, I had only 2 days to choose and sign up for a new one. But which one to choose? If you went by the many websites and message boards dedicated to UK ISP hunting, every ISP is dreadful, so it was only really left to my own judgement. My family and I use the internet every single day.It's used for entertainment,research,education etc. This can become very expensive,if you are paying every time you connect. Then we heard about Freeserve unlimited. £9.99 a month,unlimited access to the internet.This proved a fantastic saving for us while it lasted.The problem was,as more people signed up,the service became slower and slower.I sent emails,but just kept getting automated replies. Why do all good things have to come to an end? My experience with Freeserve was short but sweet until…..three weeks ago when we began to have problems with our relationship. Yes dear Ciao people once again I have been totally committed to someone not as committed as me. We started out back in February, I had just come out of a rocky patch with V21 and needed some stability. I needed someone to patch over the wounds and let me start afresh. I have recently had to change my Internet provider. My old provider was BT, in which with them I was paying over the odds for my Internet connection. Now I don’t mind paying a little extra as long as service etc is good, unfortunately it is not. I was on the Surf time package, where I had free connection after 6pm Mon – Fri and all day weekends. During the daytime, I paid a charge per min etc. Now, this was okay also, I didn’t mind, the thing I did mind was that at the end of every month I was unable to connect…WHY…because they only give u so many minutes of surf ... more
