nice little oven Advantages: great value for money, cooks well Disadvantages: grill a bit slow to heat up I bought this when my old oven finally gave up! It was very cheap so I wasnt expecting anything great. I just needed a basic oven. It just goes to show you dont always need to spend loads for qualty. This is a nice little oven. The gas hobs ignite quickly and stay lit so you dont have to try and ignite them for 2 minutes like some ovens. Don' bother with the Stoves 1000 GDL Advantages: 8 rings Disadvantages: Tinny poor quality I have had a stoves gas range cooker 1000 gds and have also suffered the dint in the door, the grill dries up the food so I dont use it, the control knobs get hot if the oven door is opened, the control knobs have worn out, the writing to indicate which ring to use has worn out, and the gas rings are rusty. I have a friend who has the same cooker and has had similar problems to mine she also doesn't use the grill. Fantastic cooker Advantages: Programmable oven. Removable glass doors. Attractive. All the features you need for cooking. Disadvantages: absolutely none. I loved it I bought my Stoves 600SIDODLa cooker four years ago and now I am reluctantly having to sell it as I am moving and there is a new cooker already there. During the whole period the cooker has served me very well. It is attractive in stainless steel with a black hob. The glass lid folds down and has a cut off feature if the gas is left on by accident, but I have not tested this out. Because the height is adjustable it fits neatly into fitted kitchen ... ...appearance of the cooker very attractive in a fitted kitchen. There are two oven and both have two lights in them.which is very useful. There is an automatic programmer which is easy to use, so that you can have your dinner ready for when you arrive home from work. There are glass panels in the doors, so you can see the food cooking, and these can also be removed for cleaning. The oven shelves are adjustable too. You will also find there are two lights in each oven, and a fan in both of the ovens. The gas supply is automatically shut off when you close the lid (Although mine is faulty). The door fell off my Rangemaster! Advantages: Capacious ovens Disadvantages: Strange extra shelves and dangerous doors ...because the slim oven door fell off its hinges when the oven was on! Deeply concerning. To give them their due, Rangemaster were very apologetic about this and it was fixed promptly, but this is really unacceptable.
