A one of charge for a free view box and free digital tv channels sounds very good doesnt it? I thought so my self and invested in a free veiw box but when i got it home i wasnt very impressed. It picked up all of the channels it said i was ment to recive which were:
BBC One, BBC Two, ITV 1, Channel 4 and five, ITV 2, ITV 3, ITV 4, BBC Three, Sky Three, BBC Four, E4, More4, Film4, UK History, UK Bright Ideas , Virgin 1 , Teachers TV, Community News / Sport BBC News 24, Sky News, Sky Sports News, BBC Parliament Kids CBBC, Cbeebies Shopping QVC, Bid TV , Price-drop TV , Ideal World Music The Hits, The Music Factory Radio BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 2, BBC Radio 3 ,BBC Radio 4, BBC Radio 5 Live, BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra, BBC Radio 6, BBC 1Xtra, BBC Radio 7, TalkSport, BBC Asian Network, BBC World Service, Smash Hits, KISS, Kerrang, Smooth Radio (formerly Jazz FM), Virgin, Oneword, The Hits, Q, Magic, Heat, Mojo, Clyde 1 & Premier Christian Interactive / Info BBCi, Teletext, FourText, (Games), Hits Extra
But half of the channels have no signal of freeze half way through shows. I use a good arieal which i brought to use with my freeveiw box and its compatable with the freeveiw service. I also checked on the freeveiw web site about the signal quality in my area and it said it said i should be able to get all the channels. Ino that the box i have is fine because i have a friend who has the same one i just think that their signal isnt very strong. Although i do think it will get better when we switch over from anologue to digital. I recomend that you check coverage in your erea by visiting http://www.freeview.co.uk/availability befor you by a box. The box its self was easy to set up i litteraly got it out of the box pluged the airial in and the power supply and connected it to the tv by a scart lead. The box then automaticaly scanned for the channels and gave me tips to get the most out of it. The chanels do take a while to change which ca be annoting and the tv guide sometimes displays incorrect information. On the whole freeveiw is ok it works better in some areas so id recomend you ask a friend in your area who has freeveiw on what the signal is like over where you are.

Sorry I couldn't give you a better rating, but most of your review was just a list of the Freeview channels. Perhaps in future reviews you could give more info - how easy was it to set up, that sort of stuff - as well as comment on the problems you found.
