A-rated energy efficiency free-standing frost free
Advantages: Price, efficiency, never have to defrost, clean lines, will alert you when the door is not closed properly Disadvantages: none
...The upright free-standing white Beko TZDA627F was our choice. F = Frost-free which is just what it says, it won't ice up, so you never have to worry about defrosting it - a Godsend when you have a busy life. Cleaning couldn't be easier, a quick wipe over with a cloth whenever necessary, and you're done.
We chose the slightly larger appliance for maximum storage. It was purchased about 8 months ago when it was on sale for just £249.99 (usually £299.99), ... ...forgotten to close the door properly by beeping - very reassuring.
Grade A energy efficiency is a plus point in keeping the running costs to a minimum. It's not a big high street brand, but l have not hesitated to recommend the Beko TZDA627F to family and friends. ...

Beko ZA630 Freezer - a good price for a good freeze
Advantages: Cheap, good storage Disadvantages: It does look cheap
Beko ZA630
All in all you get what you pay for with this freezer. For only £150 or so it is a good buy. The three storage departments are quite large and you can fit all of your essentials in the compartments. As yet (after 6 months) I have not found the need to defrost it. I am sure this will come in time.
The storage compartment draw doors are acutally quite robust and unlike other freezer compartment doors, they do actually stay in place ... ...actual freezer itself is quite light and I managed to pick it up and move it myself without too much bother.
This is a good little freezer and I would buy one again if it remained at this type of price - hopefully I can come back in a couple of years and report that it is still going strong! ...

a nice, slim freezer
Advantages: good shape, clear large draws Disadvantages: none as yet
We didnt need a big freezer and as we live in a cottage and space is limited so this model suited us very well. Quite narrow and with large storage draws this freezer maximises space while alowing easy access. The extra cost of the frost free version is well worth it, pretty much trouble free in its running and with an A rating its quite cheap to run. The draws are clear so its easier to see the contents and strong (something suprisingly lacking ... ...a nice touch .
We picked the silver external finish but its also available in white which was slightly cheaper. The finish is quite strong and seems to stand a few knocks without any marks at all.
As to the performance, well in this day and age all freezers sem to work well with only the consumption rating being an issue and this rates 'A' . A long life? well that remains to be seen but my experience is it will still be running wehen im ready for ...

Freezer full of hassle
Advantages: It keeps things cold Disadvantages: The drawers fall out when you open them!
My mum and dad have just bought a new freezer as their old one just ran its course and was a bit too old to perform anymore. In the first couple of weeks my mum grumbled about this, and didn’t seem to like it much at all; I was sympathetic “what a shame” but until I came to visit, I didn’t actually believe that it was so hard to use. A freezer shouldn’t really be hard to use, but this one is just frustrating – every time you pull open a drawer, the ... ...it back in again!!
The freezer is kept in the garage to save a bit of moving-around space in the kitchen, and when shopping for a new freezer, they were told that this was the only one that particular shop sold that could be stored in a garage (though whether this is really the case, or whether they just wanted a sale we shall never know). So they just had to go with it – being told that it was quite a good freezer with a good name. Most freezers ...
