Reliable freezer
Review of Zanussi ZVR47R by
martyn4764
Advantages: Reliable, efficient, it freezes things
Disadvantages: None, really
...reliabilty reports in "Which?", and Zanussi comes out pretty much at the top every time. This freezer is also rated "B" for efficiency (and therefore running costs), which is just about as good as you can currently buy.
So, it's going to be cheap to run and last for years - what more do you want? OK, it's a doddle to set up, looks good (in a white sort of way), is reasonably flexible in terms of removing doors, and (at least bought over the Net) ...

My Freezer is Hot Stuff
Review of Zanussi ZF57/1W by
alma
Advantages: Reliable
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
I bought my Zanussi upright freezer over a year ago and I love it. It has sturdy drawers, which I haven’t managed to break yet. That alone is a first. OK, it’s just plain white instead of sci-fi silver or lurid luminous green, yellow, pink etc. I like white. It goes with anything and I can see when it’s clean. I also like a lot of storage capacity, but don’t have space for a chest freezer. Full marks to the Zanussi again. It’s a great medium sized ... ...is a bit imposing, as are the larger uprights. This model is perfect. It’s amazing how much you can fit into it. OK. To the serious stuff.
GENERAL POINTS
Price- I can’t remember exactly but somewhere between £250 and £300. Not the cheapest on the market granted.
Controls- Fairly straightforward, but need a coin to turn them. I suppose this stops small children altering them. It’s not a major annoyance. Also the settings are marked N and S. N is ...

RZA50
Review of Hotpoint RZA50 by
Sianannette
Advantages: Ideal size for our kitchen but now need to find one of similar size.
Disadvantages: Failed completely in 3 1/2 years, noisy, handle fell off.
...looked after it well. Hotpoint tell us there is nothing we can do. My advice to anyone out there is don't touch this appliance with a barge pole. I'm really annoyed because we paid a lot of money in good faith and expected it to last A LOT LONGER than this. Incidentally the handle came off in my hand some time ago and it used to make a lot of noise. We bought the fridge at the same time RLA50 and that keeps on freezing all our fruit and veg. I love ...

a nice, slim freezer
Review of Beko TZDA524 by
coppinpr
Advantages: good shape, clear large draws
Disadvantages: none as yet
We didnt need a big freezer and as we live in a cottage and space is limited so this model suited us very well. Quite narrow and with large storage draws this freezer maximises space while alowing easy access. The extra cost of the frost free version is well worth it, pretty much trouble free in its running and with an A rating its quite cheap to run. The draws are clear so its easier to see the contents and strong (something suprisingly lacking ... ...a nice touch .
We picked the silver external finish but its also available in white which was slightly cheaper. The finish is quite strong and seems to stand a few knocks without any marks at all.
As to the performance, well in this day and age all freezers sem to work well with only the consumption rating being an issue and this rates 'A' . A long life? well that remains to be seen but my experience is it will still be running wehen im ready for ...

Fridgemaster Freezer MTRZ502
Review of Fridgemaster MTRZ502 by
lucyriley1
Advantages: Low cost to buy and run, small to fit into a small space, manual defrost
Disadvantages: Too small for more than 2 people, energy effieciency B - not A
As I only have a small flat which didn't come with a freezer, I had to get myself a small freezer that I could find somewhere.
What the freezer has to offer - Manual defrost.
Ice cube tray.
Reversible door.
Size (H)51, (W)54.5, (D)55cm.
Energy efficiency class 'B'.
Energy consumption 292kWh/year.
Net frozen food volume 45 litres.
4 star rating. Price - This freezer cost £98 which is relatively cheap for a freezer. I was able to get it delivere ... ...great. I looked around for the best price and I found the freezer for between £95-£120. Regarding running the freezer, I havent found a significant change in my electricity bill.
Looks/Style - The freezer is white and looks really good. It is small and compact. It has a shelf, and comes with an ice scraper and an ice cube tray.
Size - This freezer is only small but is ideal for me and my partner as we can stock u on frozen food with this freezer. ...
