Zanussi ZCF 115
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZCF115 CF by
elmwalk7
Advantages: Large capacity
Disadvantages: locking system
I have owned this freezer for a little over a year with many, many problems, but only with the locking feature, I am actually on my third freezer as they had to keep changing it, lock still doesnt work on the current one, but I was compensated by shop I bought it from and it was easier than defrosting yet another freezer. Freezer wise the appliance is reliable and large enough for my family. The locks worked only twice before they seemed to mis-align ...

Good quality, large capacity and stylish design
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZEUC 2325 X by
hollypopple
Advantages: Large size, stylish, choice of settings, energy efficient
Disadvantages: Not self-defrosting
I bought this energy efficient upright double freezer for £385 a year ago and it has always worked perfectly. It has a brushed stainless steel front and so looks good in a modern style of kitchen. The freezer has six pull-out drawers, one of which is larger than the others. It is large and you can fit a lot of food in it. There is a dial enabling you to change the temperature.
The only fault I have noticed with the freezer is that when you take ... ...falls off. It is easy to put back on, but it can be annoying. Although I have not had to fully defrost the freezer since buying it a year ago, I recently had to use the ice scraper that comes with it to remove a build-up of ice which was preventing the door from closing properly. This was a slightly messy job but was easy enough to do. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality, double size freezer with a modern design. ...

COLD AS ICE
Review of Zanussi ZCF37WRL by
thingywhatsit
Advantages: Ice Cream when I want it.
Disadvantages: None as yet.
I have just moved house, and one of the concerns I had about appliances was that the fancy built in fridge in the kitchen had no freezer compartment. Although I tended not to freeze a great deal, there was the call for a freezer because there are items in the weekly shop that require freezing.
I argued the toss with my husband, and he was not prepared to give up space in his workshop and I had no place for a huge freezer and my needs were more modest ... ...a chest freezer was the answer, because the other small freezers that were available with a door take up too much floor space and I wanted this one to fit neatly into the utility room without taking up space on the floor where I could put other things.
This is a neat little freezer and is fully insulated and has an apoxy coated steel cabinet liner which in real terms means a surface that is easy to wipe clean. DIMENSIONS
It was important to me ...

RZA50
Review of Hotpoint RZA50 by
Sianannette
Advantages: Ideal size for our kitchen but now need to find one of similar size.
Disadvantages: Failed completely in 3 1/2 years, noisy, handle fell off.
...looked after it well. Hotpoint tell us there is nothing we can do. My advice to anyone out there is don't touch this appliance with a barge pole. I'm really annoyed because we paid a lot of money in good faith and expected it to last A LOT LONGER than this. Incidentally the handle came off in my hand some time ago and it used to make a lot of noise. We bought the fridge at the same time RLA50 and that keeps on freezing all our fruit and veg. I love ...

a nice, slim freezer
Review of Beko TZDA524 by
coppinpr
Advantages: good shape, clear large draws
Disadvantages: none as yet
We didnt need a big freezer and as we live in a cottage and space is limited so this model suited us very well. Quite narrow and with large storage draws this freezer maximises space while alowing easy access. The extra cost of the frost free version is well worth it, pretty much trouble free in its running and with an A rating its quite cheap to run. The draws are clear so its easier to see the contents and strong (something suprisingly lacking ... ...a nice touch .
We picked the silver external finish but its also available in white which was slightly cheaper. The finish is quite strong and seems to stand a few knocks without any marks at all.
As to the performance, well in this day and age all freezers sem to work well with only the consumption rating being an issue and this rates 'A' . A long life? well that remains to be seen but my experience is it will still be running wehen im ready for ...
