Zanussi ZCF 115
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZCF115 CF by elmwalk7

Advantages: Large capacity
Disadvantages: locking system

I have owned this freezer for a little over a year with many, many problems, but only with the locking feature, I am actually on my third freezer as they had to keep changing it, lock still doesnt work on the current one, but I was compensated by shop I bought it from and it was easier than defrosting yet another freezer. Freezer wise the appliance is reliable and large enough for my family. The locks worked only twice before they seemed to mis-align ... Read review

Good quality, large capacity and stylish design
Review of Zanussi-Electrolux ZEUC 2325 X by hollypopple

Advantages: Large size, stylish, choice of settings, energy efficient
Disadvantages: Not self-defrosting

I bought this energy efficient upright double freezer for £385 a year ago and it has always worked perfectly. It has a brushed stainless steel front and so looks good in a modern style of kitchen. The freezer has six pull-out drawers, one of which is larger than the others. It is large and you can fit a lot of food in it. There is a dial enabling you to change the temperature. The only fault I have noticed with the freezer is that when you take ...
...falls off. It is easy to put back on, but it can be annoying. Although I have not had to fully defrost the freezer since buying it a year ago, I recently had to use the ice scraper that comes with it to remove a build-up of ice which was preventing the door from closing properly. This was a slightly messy job but was easy enough to do. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a good quality, double size freezer with a modern design. ... Read review

RZA50
Review of Hotpoint RZA50 by Sianannette

Advantages: Ideal size for our kitchen but now need to find one of similar size.
Disadvantages: Failed completely in 3 1/2 years, noisy, handle fell off.

...looked after it well. Hotpoint tell us there is nothing we can do. My advice to anyone out there is don't touch this appliance with a barge pole. I'm really annoyed because we paid a lot of money in good faith and expected it to last A LOT LONGER than this. Incidentally the handle came off in my hand some time ago and it used to make a lot of noise. We bought the fridge at the same time RLA50 and that keeps on freezing all our fruit and veg. I love ... a nice, slim freezer
Review of Beko TZDA524 by coppinpr

Advantages: good shape, clear large draws
Disadvantages: none as yet

We didnt need a big freezer and as we live in a cottage and space is limited so this model suited us very well. Quite narrow and with large storage draws this freezer maximises space while alowing easy access. The extra cost of the frost free version is well worth it, pretty much trouble free in its running and with an A rating its quite cheap to run. The draws are clear so its easier to see the contents and strong (something suprisingly lacking ...
...a nice touch . We picked the silver external finish but its also available in white which was slightly cheaper. The finish is quite strong and seems to stand a few knocks without any marks at all. As to the performance, well in this day and age all freezers sem to work well with only the consumption rating being an issue and this rates 'A' . A long life? well that remains to be seen but my experience is it will still be running wehen im ready for ... Read review

Fridgemaster Freezer MTRZ502
Review of Fridgemaster MTRZ502 by lucyriley1

Advantages: Low cost to buy and run, small to fit into a small space, manual defrost
Disadvantages: Too small for more than 2 people, energy effieciency B - not A

As I only have a small flat which didn't come with a freezer, I had to get myself a small freezer that I could find somewhere. What the freezer has to offer - Manual defrost. Ice cube tray. Reversible door. Size (H)51, (W)54.5, (D)55cm. Energy efficiency class 'B'. Energy consumption 292kWh/year. Net frozen food volume 45 litres. 4 star rating. Price - This freezer cost £98 which is relatively cheap for a freezer. I was able to get it delivere ...
...great. I looked around for the best price and I found the freezer for between £95-£120. Regarding running the freezer, I havent found a significant change in my electricity bill. Looks/Style - The freezer is white and looks really good. It is small and compact. It has a shelf, and comes with an ice scraper and an ice cube tray. Size - This freezer is only small but is ideal for me and my partner as we can stock u on frozen food with this freezer. ... Read review
