A-rated energy efficiency free-standing frost free
Advantages: Price, efficiency, never have to defrost, clean lines, will alert you when the door is not closed properly Disadvantages: none
...The upright free-standing white Beko TZDA627F was our choice. F = Frost-free which is just what it says, it won't ice up, so you never have to worry about defrosting it - a Godsend when you have a busy life. Cleaning couldn't be easier, a quick wipe over with a cloth whenever necessary, and you're done.
We chose the slightly larger appliance for maximum storage. It was purchased about 8 months ago when it was on sale for just £249.99 (usually £299.99), ... ...forgotten to close the door properly by beeping - very reassuring.
Grade A energy efficiency is a plus point in keeping the running costs to a minimum. It's not a big high street brand, but l have not hesitated to recommend the Beko TZDA627F to family and friends. ...

Gosh, no tosh for your dosh!
Advantages: Design, capacity Disadvantages: Handle
...Ending up with a Bosch was no real surprise: we already have a Bosch oven, hob, fridge and tumble dryer and in the past have had a Bosch washing machine and dishwasher. Their design, spec and price always hit the right note with us. With so many, though, we’ll have to watch they don’t start to breed. One morning we’ll come down to a kitchen full of little Bosch juicers and blenders.
Bosch. Not an attractive name. No image consultant starting from ... ...monosyllabic plosive. But Robert Bosch when he started his automotive components business back in the 1880s, was passionate about quality and technology and that is still the key to the company’s success. So let’s hear it for Bosch! Give me a B, give me an O …. All right then.
B is for Boxes, 8 in all, of varying sizes. The top 3 are racks, with pull down front flaps. The other 5 are boxes proper which lift out. The very lowest one is half depth ...

My very first freezer - and it's a good one
Advantages: Easy to set up, ideal size, good performance Disadvantages: Short cable
Earlier this year I moved into a new flat, which had other white goods but no freezer. At first I thought it was fine, I could use the ice box in the fridge for things like chips, veggie mince and the odd ice lolly - I've lived without a freezer before and thought I could do it again. Wrong. Having had a freezer for the last two and a half years, my shopping and cooking habits have changed. And the ice box was useless. So I decided to invest in a ... ...limited - there is nowhere in the kitchen, and although I have a small utility area, it has the washing machine in it and needs to be clear to access the bathroom. It occurred to me though that a small tabletop freezer could sit in the middle of this space without getting in the way. I made some measurements, and starting looking online for what I needed. As my parents happened to be visiting soon with their car, I decided that rather than mess about ...

Beko ZA630 Freezer - a good price for a good freeze
Advantages: Cheap, good storage Disadvantages: It does look cheap
Beko ZA630
All in all you get what you pay for with this freezer. For only £150 or so it is a good buy. The three storage departments are quite large and you can fit all of your essentials in the compartments. As yet (after 6 months) I have not found the need to defrost it. I am sure this will come in time.
The storage compartment draw doors are acutally quite robust and unlike other freezer compartment doors, they do actually stay in place ... ...actual freezer itself is quite light and I managed to pick it up and move it myself without too much bother.
This is a good little freezer and I would buy one again if it remained at this type of price - hopefully I can come back in a couple of years and report that it is still going strong! ...
