Focus Monthly Contact Lenses

Advantages: Value for money if used wisely
Disadvantages: If not rinsed well or left in too long can cause discomfort

Being a short-sighted Myopia sufferer contact lenses seemed like an obvious alternative to spectacles what with constantly losing or breaking them. Contact lenses eradicated this problem! Focus monthly's were the first brand of lenses I ever tried?not too expensive so as a student I could comfortably afford them. I must admit these lenses were quite comfortable?at first but due to the necessity of having to re-use and re-use them they had a tendency to fray round the edges, dry out and slightly deteriorate. If they hadn't been sterilised properly overnight and stored in the correct solution this felt on occasions like putting grit into your eye the following morning. Focus monthly's are a product of Ciba Vision and retail at most opticians for about ten pounds a month (can be purchased in three month batches if more appropriate ...

Great quality contact lenses

Advantages: Very comfortable and easy to use
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest on the market

I've been wearing contact lenses for about 7 years. I was nervous at first, especially as there are eye problems in my family. I didn't want to do anything that might be detrimental to my eyesight or cause problems down the line. Also my job at the time meant that I was out of the house for 12 hours at a time, I wanted lenses I could leave in for this length of time without worrying that my eyes would dry. For these reason I didn't go for the cheapest option but instead took advice from my optician and chose Acuvue Advance. These lenses are licensed for continuous wear, so in theory they could be left in the eye for the full 2 weeks before needing to be changed. My optician explained that this is because they allow a lot of oxygen to the back of the eye, so the lense does not need to be removed to allow the eye to 'breath'. However ...

Focus Dailies (Box of 30) Contact Lenses

Advantages: Cheap, great quality, easy to aplly
Disadvantages: none

Ive been wearing contact lenses for over 4 years and these focus dailies are the best ive had. Ive tried quite a few brands and these for me have been the best. I used to order them from my opticians, which was a private optician, but have found this more expensive, and now order via online at asda.com which sell them half price. Although when i first ordered them via Asda, they needed to contact my previous optician for details on my eye prescription, but they only need to do this once, then you can order as many as you like as they give you an account to go back online and place your order. They only take between 3 and 4 days for delivery. when my lenses arrived, 2 boxes arrived with 30 in each box, which last me around a month. as for the lenses them selfs, there easy to open package, very soft and delicate, and fit in to ...
