**No Frills Provider**

I chose Fresh because their handset was £10 cheaper than the same handset with another Network. I bought in Carphone Warehouse but wasn't aware that Fresh is their Network.
Charges average but not transparent (you don't get itemised account details unless you pay).
You can only top up with a minimum of £20.
I had to waste about £7 of credit calling Fresh to get my messaging activated, even though it says in the handbook it's supposed to already be set up. It was off again within about a month.
It can take ages to get credit loaded onto your account after you've paid for it, (in Carphone Warehouse or by card on your mobile).
It doesn't give you a balance after each call, you've got to phone Fresh & request a balance.
They have a really daft way of dealing with credit & they load on VAT at the end of the month, so if you've only got a few pounds worth of credit it can wipe out all your credit.
If the VAT at the end of the month puts your credit into minus figures you start getting threatening letters from Fresh demanding money & threatening to cut you off.
Signal often not very good.
Some texts can take ages to reach me, even in areas with good signal, (worst was nearly 48hrs!)
Customer Services numbers are expensive to call.
I've managed to get several email addresses for Execs & c/s at Fresh but all emails have been ignored.
Far from impressed!
