Advantages: Quick and easy to use Disadvantages: Difficult to find in the shops
...time ago I bought a Freshbake Minced beef & onion pie which you can cook in the microwave for my husband to try for his lunch as his cookery skills are somewhat limited. His verdict was that it was simple and easy to cook and tasted delicious and could he have some more please! He is now happy to have one every lunchtime, but here we hit a problem. The shops stock the Chicken and Vegetable and Steak and Vegetable varieties, but he only wants the ... ...anywhere? Maybe the odd one or two, but rarely more than that. The other day, determined to bring some back, I visited Morrisons, Kwiksave Safeway and Sainsburys stores to no avail. I eventually struck gold in the second Morrisons I visited- when there were no pies as usual, I asked a shop assistant why they were sold out, which he couldn't answer, but pointed me to the larger microbake pies which, luckily, were on special offer.
