I have had this fridge freezer for seven months and haven't had any problems with it. The fridge capacity is enough for a family of four (2 teenagers!) and stays at a stable temperature. It is kept in a utility room which can get very cold, but I haven't noticed any changes in internal temp. Condensation does build up on the back but drains through the bottom hole. ...One major niggle are the ice cube trays on the front of the freezer drawers, they seem like good idea but are very small and you can't see how much water to put in. My son bashes the tube on the worktop to dislodge the cubes, which is REALLY annoying and probably not good for the top or ice cube holder. Great American style fridge freezer

Advantages: No sacrifice of space to water filter/ice maker, loads of fridge space
Disadvantages: Wine rack an optional extra, could benefit from another door shelf.

Great fridge-freezer! We ordered it from Laskys (see my separate review) as they were offering it for the cheapest price at the time. Fridge side (on the right) is bigger than the freezer. We went for this model so we wouldn't need to plumb it into the cold water supply, and we wouldn't sacrifice lots of freezer space to an ice maker. Love my Smeg

Advantages: Looks fabulous and lasts a long time.
Disadvantages: Very Expensive on the outset.

I have had my Smeg fridge for the last 5 years, Ihave it in pastel green and it looks the same now as the day it was delivered. It looks fabulous, its works great and I wouldn't get another fridge (unless it was another Smeg). The only down side to these appliances is that they cost a lot of money - in my opinion its well worth it but for some they a simply unaffordable. we brought this fridge freezer about 6 months ago from the argos after our old one finaly bit the dust, it cost £290 and is only available on home delivery.
