Hotpoint RFA52 Excellent product Advantages: Does what it's supposed to! Disadvantages: none I have had this fridge freezer for seven months and haven't had any problems with it. The fridge capacity is enough for a family of four (2 teenagers!) and stays at a stable temperature. It is kept in a utility room which can get very cold, but I haven't noticed any changes in internal temp. Condensation does build up on the back but drains through the bottom hole. The freezer capacity is maybe a little less than I would have liked but means I have ... ...One major niggle are the ice cube trays on the front of the freezer drawers, they seem like good idea but are very small and you can't see how much water to put in. My son bashes the tube on the worktop to dislodge the cubes, which is REALLY annoying and probably not good for the top or ice cube holder. The motor is extremely quiet, in fact sometimes I have to open the fridge door to check it is still working! It's... A fridge!!! Advantages: see review Disadvantages: bit too tall This is my latest port of call on my happy go lucky spending spree. Hotpoint FF187 polar white fridge/freezer Advantages: Good design features; nice quality plastics Disadvantages: Compressor failed within 2 weeks of purchase ...weeks of purchase Hotpoint FF187 - decided to buy this because of useful features such as the ice cube feature for the freezer door fronts and the quality of the plastics for the drawers (not as brittle as some other manufacturers offerings). LG Baby LG Advantages: Big ,Spacious, Great Looks, No Frost Disadvantages: Just the power cuts. ...jammed and everything seized. OK LG was very kind in helping us repair at no cost. What a great team LG. I'll prefer any of their products just for the service they gave me. On energy effient it is good and I've saved about 4% of my total usage. The fridge got looks and pretty designs and I'm happy about it.
