had this fridge freezer for about 5 years and never had a problem. the freezer is a little small but manageable. the cold water and ice maker work well and do need to be plumbed in to the mains but it wasnt expensive to get a plumber to do it. the filter does need changing about every 6 months although i usually leave it 12 months as the the light to warn you that it needs changing seems to be a 6 month timer not a lime scale senser! the ice maker ... This is by far one of the best appliances I have every bought. If you can afford it. Don't hesitate to buy it. The appliance is packed with features. But the highlight is surely the Iced water/ ice cube/ crushed ice maker. It even FILTERS the water for you. ...much debate opted for the Samsung RL33SBNS. Reasons for choosing the Samsung: Size - the fridge is huge and with adjustable shelving storing even akward items is easy. I was limited to the width of appliance that I could choose so a side by side fridge freezer was out of the question but this is very spacious. Energy Efficiency - A-Rated but then most are.
