Review of Hotpoint RTA42 by

Advantages: small for a flat
Disadvantages: too small freezer and only A graded
...i used to work for hotpoint for about 2 years in the repairs line so i know alot about hotpoint units. Its a good place to work but i know all the faults and things that will go wrong after a short period of time etc. the product is good if you dont need alot of space in the freezer so basically good for 1 person. Its A enerygy ratings and they can be between A-G which means, where A has the lowest energy consumption and G has the highest. The mesurements ... ...I dont mean to put hotpoint down as the old appliances they used to do are properly the only thing they have done that is still going strong. Lately all the hotpoint appliances that are coming out are failing as soon as its in your door. Yeah you might think ah ive got insurance its ok but i would strongly recommend that you do look else where and dont make a rash decision and dont forget if you do buy this then make sure you ask the retailer if ...

Ideal Fridge with great storage
Review of Hotpoint HT 303 I by
biddy2211
Advantages: Loads of space and the freezer compartment at the top
Disadvantages: Could do with another egg tray
This is the ideal fridge for any size family. I have now had this fridge for about 5 months and I must say I am very impressed. I did not want a fridge freezer that was half and half, as I already had a big freezer that we keep out in the garage. This item has a small freezer box at the top of the fridge which is great for keeping ice cream, a spare loaf, frozen veg and space for more. The freezer box has one shelf in it. In the main Fridge there ... ...three bottles. There are plenty of extra storage compartments in the door foor cheeses etc. The bottom two compartments in the door give you plenty of room for milk and juices. The egg tray holds half a dozen eggs. The vegetable and salad crispers at the bottom are again very spacious and keep the items very well. The fan keeps a good constant temperature in the fridge. There are four shelves and are easy to get in and out for cleaning. This fridge ...

A spacious energy efficient under counter fridge
Review of Hotpoint RSA21 by
spiceworlduk
Advantages: Fits neatly under the work surface, ample cold storage space and 4 star freezer compartment.
Disadvantages: None found as yet
I recently decided to buy a new fridge and yes you guessed it this was the one I brought.
Many things helped me with this decision but firstly I wanted an energy efficient under counter model, this particular one had been given an energy efficiency rating of 'A' which is very good both for the electricity bill and the environment as a whole. At 85cm tall it still has enough space for the air to circulate under the work surface so it wouldn't over ... ...space inside the appliance this one has a 91 litre capacity for cold storage, ideal for most family requirements, with 1 adjustable glass shelf and a further one that sits above the salad storage drawer. Also within the appliance is a 4 star 14 litre freezer compartment ideal for freezing small items, in my case ice lollies for my 5 children in the summer so they don't keep going into my large freezer.
The door also holds a bottle rack, egg storage ...

COOLER SHAKER
Review of Hotpoint RTA41 by
catrinaf
Advantages: Doesn't take up much space
Disadvantages: Freezer on the small side, shakes a bit
I bought this fridge freezer last year with my Christmas bonus (how sad). I bought this particular one because it was in my price range and was the correct height. My fridge stands underneath my boiler in the kitchen so it can’t be too tall.
*Appearance*
The fridge freezer I bought is white in colour (but it also comes in cream and silver). There are two doors, a smaller one at the top for the freezer section and a larger one at the bottom for ... ...is shaped so that it can be used as the handle. This is the same for the top of the fridge door.
A nice touch is that you can reverse the doors, so that they open from the other side, while I haven't done this myself the instructions in the manual look very thorough and easy to follow. The Top front edge of the fridge is rounded to give it a sleeker look and to remove any dangerous sharp edges. There are 4 feet underneath the fridge; two of these ...

Excellent fridge, not-so excellent freezer.
Review of Hotpoint RSB20 by
Pinkness1978
Advantages: You can choose whether to open the door on the left or the right.
Disadvantages: Freezer compartment gets iced up quickly.
...that Mum had always trusted Hotpoint as a brand, I opted for this fridge/freezer. I thought it would be very useful to have the option of being able to open the door from whichever side was suited, knowing that I wouldn't be staying in my studio flat very long and not knowing what my next kitchen might offer. As it happens, I have always had the door opening from the same side - but you never know!
As a fridge it has proved quite efficient. I have ... ...door shelves are sometimes tricky to slot into place - and that's the most annoying bit about the cleaning! The freezer section, however, is a bit of a pain. It freezes over too quickly and I have actually stopped using it to its full capacity as I don't have the time to keep defrosting it. Luckily I now live in a cottage that has ample space for a separate freezer so I don't really need the freezer compartment in the fridge. However, if you are ...
