I hope I am not tempting fate by saying this but I have not had any problems with this fridge/freezer in 4 ½ years. The fridge and the freezer part are fairly equal in size, another reason I picked this particular unit as some combi units have tiny freezers and that isn't any good for me. ...the price hiked up. Hotpoint have the usual 12 month parts and labour guaranteee but the parts are guaranteed for 5 years. The only snag is that should a part need replacing that you cant do yourself you have to have them fitted by one of their Service Engineers. So there'll be no snow this Christmas again in my house! This is the ideal fridge for any size family. I have now had this fridge for about 5 months and I must say I am very impressed. I did not want a fridge freezer that was half and half, as I already had a big freezer that we keep out in the garage.
