...fighting with Hoover to get it taken away the guys picking it up said "oh, another one of these" as they have been picking up LOADS of them. There is obviously a fault with this model but maybe Hoover don't want to admit it? Avoid at all costs! ... Read review

We purchased the KG34NA40GBSSL stainless steel look fridge freezer for our new house in April from Boots Kitchens appliances. Despite initial problems getting stock from Boots we are really pleased with this appliance. Good size and depth, both in fridge and freezer sections. I have owned this fridge/freezer for a few years now and it still looks like new. Mine is a dark greenone, and when it came I was surprised to see how big it was, so I call it my Jolly Green Giant!!! Plently of space for everything and I won't be changing it unless it breaks! Very reasonable and good value for money. I bought my Beko CA5410W fridge freezer about 20 months ago from comet, and have to say that im appalled by the lack of longevity with this machine, the compressor has broken down, needing a new one to replace which the repair man said would cost £150, avoid this manufacturer unless you have money to waste. There seemed to be nothing wrong with the machine at first, frost free, good capacity, good looking machine, until the breakdown, where it started ...
...my review when I questioned Beko on help with the situation this is what their reply was: Our Beko warranty only covers repair costs carried out by a authorised Beko engineer within the first 12 months of purchase. Unfortunately as your appliance is now 22 months old this is not something that we can help with financially. Advantages: Looks great and fab water and ice system
Disadvantages: Useable space in both fridge and freezer reduced due to design

I have found that there are several major design faults with this product. Firstly, there is a vent at the side of the most-used shelf in the fridge. If this is covered, which is done easily as the vent is low down, the whole fridge freezes up - hopeless. This, and a large vent at the very top, cuts down on useable storage space in the fridge.
