I was looking for a certain type of fridge freezer. It had to be the correct height and width for a pre built storage area in my garage. This one fitted ( excuse the pun ) perfectly. I ordered this one from Co-Op electrical online on the 27th of December and it was deliverd on the 29th. ...i used to work for hotpoint for about 2 years in the repairs line so i know alot about hotpoint units. Its a good place to work but i know all the faults and things that will go wrong after a short period of time etc. the product is good if you dont need alot of space in the freezer so basically good for 1 person. I have owned this fridge/freezer for a few years now and it still looks like new. Mine is a dark greenone, and when it came I was surprised to see how big it was, so I call it my Jolly Green Giant!!! I bought my Beko CA5410W fridge freezer about 20 months ago from comet, and have to say that im appalled by the lack of longevity with this machine, the compressor has broken down, needing a new one to replace which the repair man said would cost £150, avoid this manufacturer unless you have money to waste.
