Advantages: Big freezer compartment...and fridge section Disadvantages: A bit bulky
...for the kitchen was this Hotpoint FF187E fridge freezer. Well technically we bought the FF187EG - which is the exact same model only in graphite, rather than white (it is also available in satin aluminium, which is probably the colour you'd get if you were to mix white and graphite together).
When looking to buy our fridge freezer (FF) we noticed that a lot of the ones on the market seem to have larger fridge sections and smaller freezer ones. I ... ...fresh food, or if they have additional separate freezers to put more stuff into? I just know that we were looking for one that had at roughly half of the space given up for the freezer drawers due to our reliance on freezing food. The FF187 doesn't quite have a half fridge/half freezer set up, but it was the closest we could find in our price range and it copes easily with the demands we put on in (2 adults).

Recently purchased the graphite version of this fridge (FFP187BG) for around £300 and cannot recommend it highly enough!
The fridge part sports an awesome wine rack that hangs below one of the shelves. My girlfriend is particularly fond of this bit! The freezer has remained frost free as advertised which is nice as I hate defrosting freezers. It also looks snazzy as hell! Don't think I have a bad word to say about it. ...old. Having had a Hotpoint before and knowing how reliable thay are I decided to get the Hotpoint FF187E in Graphite.
Reviews for this appliance were also helpful in my decision.

4 glass shelves with Microban Antibacterial coating to protect against harmful bacteria.
1 silver wine rack which holds 4 bottles.
2 salad crisper boxes, I use mine for fruit too.
3 door pockets;- 1 of which is suitable for 2ltr ... ...too.,
I holds jars of jam, pickles and sauces.
And the top pocket has a flap up cover in clear plastic which is ideal for butter, marg, cheese and eggs.
Freezer;-
4 drawers;- top is shallow but will hold 2ltr cartons of ice-cream and boxed cakes/desserts. 2nd drawer is ideal for up to 3 loaves of bread and or rolls etc.
3rd drawer is deeper and holds packets of frozen veg, and larger boxed foods eg burgers and pizza's.
