Just bought this fridge, didn't realise it was built in Italy or I woulndn't have bothered as I know the cars they build are all looks and very tinny and unreliable. £800 for a fridge inc. the drawer fronts and you dont even get a light inside the bloody thing. Just taken me 2 nights to set this up straight as the drawer fronts were warped and would not adjust up properly. Had to pack them with cardboard to make them line up. Out of the box the drawers ... ...so the attention to quality control at the factory is not up to much.
It looks great fitted but it is definatly not worth the money so if you want my advice pls consider all options before going for this model.
Good points:

2 Allows more worktop area than an upright fridge and can see contents better
3 Quiet runner
Bad points:
1 Too expensive
2 Quality average
3 No interior light at all?????

It's a compact fridge and satisfies my purpose for the use of it. I keep it in the kitchen as i can keep all the salmonds and meat in the freezer. It's a single door fridge and its got a great cooler control inside it. You can keep bottles, wine and all types of edible stuff inside it. I use to make ice cream for my kids during the summer time as it can frost up to a very low degree. Open the door it opens on the right, I do not think this can be changed to open the other way. The fridge was brand new boxed for £299, it arrived with my washer dryer from kingdom appliances as described. I was told by the staff to leave the fridge standing upright for 24 hours, for safety purposes before installation. It was then installed and has been working fine, the item has transparent drawers so it is easy to see my food and comes with a bottle shelf, egg tray and dairy compartment. This review is for the Hotpoint RLA36 fridge. Setup ---------- Well you initially get all the parts inside the fridge. You have the shelving units and then you have the plug at the back to connect to another place. When you open up the package you assume the door is already attached when it is not, you have to put the door on yourself with the screws provided. You put inside the draws and then you are ready to go. You do need to wait for an hour ... ...place items inside again. My advice for this is do not turn off the other fridge you have at all during this time. I would have both plugged in and that way you have no food which ends up tasting funny during the waiting period.
