Disadvantages: Small and can't stuff large items

It's a compact fridge and satisfies my purpose for the use of it. I keep it in the kitchen as i can keep all the salmonds and meat in the freezer. It's a single door fridge and its got a great cooler control inside it. You can keep bottles, wine and all types of edible stuff inside it. Four days later and I had welcomed the fridge into my kitchen and by the next day it was cool enough to use. I am rather pleased with myself. Last week, I went to the 'Comet' clearance website and got one of these for £92. If you haven't tried it yet, the Comet clearance website is basically an auction site where you can bid for ex-display items and items that have previously been returned. ...last fridge had the traditional door storage which began to break under the weight of large bottles of milk etc. This one seems to have a lot more storage space and is a much better design. Advantages: not the standard size,strong inside and out
Disadvantages: machanically no better than a cheap fridge

This is an expencive fridge, Normally I would not spend over £500 on a larder fridge with no freezer but I needed a particular size fridge, not too tall but with a large capacity,and this one fitted exactly. The fridge is very well made and well designed with clever use of space and lots of thought going into positioning the racks,shelves and bins. ...its been no problem at all and its now almost one year old. The controls are almost non existant, just a quick cool switch and a temp adjuster. The fridge is ,as you might expect from a top of the range model self defrosting. Disadvantages: Where do I start?

...nothing but trouble with our Candy CL160K. Within two months it needed re-gassing as it was freezing on the inside walls. All our food, milk etc was frozen literally overnight. Two separate visits from engineers resulted in it being re-gassed. The same happened again, two months passed by, two different engineers and again re-gassed. Incredibly it happened a third time and I was told by customer services that it would need a new thermostat, the fridge ...
...could I do? So, a thermostat was fitted and hey presto it no longer kept things cold because the fridge warmed things up to room temperature! Finally the powers that be agreed we needed a new fridge. So after 6 lost days of my work....they can't give a time just a date for a visit....my now almost 7 months old fridge was exchanged but I had to wait 9 extra days for them to bring it. ...
