cheap but not cheerful

Advantages: CHEAP
Disadvantages: TINNY

...which are cheap and efficient. Lec fridges are cheap but not v. long lasting. Ours is about 5 yrs. old and it is rusting badly. There will soon be a hole in the bottom of the door. The plastic tray at the bottom soon broke and all to gether it is tinny. I have decided that it is better to buy a branded item. The fridge was brand new boxed for £299, it arrived with my washer dryer from kingdom appliances as described. I was told by the staff to leave the fridge standing upright for 24 hours, for safety purposes before installation. It was then installed and has been working fine, the item has transparent drawers so it is easy to see my food and comes with a bottle shelf, egg tray and dairy compartment. Smooth Operator

Advantages: The easy to clean shelving
Disadvantages: How sometimes the fridge can heat up food

This review is for the Hotpoint RLA36 fridge. Setup ---------- Well you initially get all the parts inside the fridge. You have the shelving units and then you have the plug at the back to connect to another place. When you open up the package you assume the door is already attached when it is not, you have to put the door on yourself with the screws provided. You put inside the draws and then you are ready to go. You do need to wait for an hour ...

Gas cylinders for fridge - easy to get in UK

Advantages: Great looking and water dispenser is brilliant.
Disadvantages: None- now I have found the cylinders

I, like many others, bought this fridge mainly because of the water dispenser. I also bought the matching freezer unit with the ice dispenser. When the supplied cylinder ran out I went through all the channels that everyone else has done and looked at all the forums on the internet and was tearing my hair out trying to find a replacement cylinder or a way to refill it. Eventually I bit the bullet and decided to purchase the 60L 3-thread cylinders ...
...100% sure they would fit. Hey presto - THEY DO !!!. The cylinders are very slightly longer and are a very neat fit in the compartment - but they do fit and I now have the sparkling water I bought the unit for.
