I was introduced to thsi website by an annomynous friend so thought I would give it ago.
When I first tried it I was hoping that it woud lead to a chance to make new friends, even though I have met a couple of new friends through the site it seems to be a place of where you can try and build a network of friends from all over the world to gain community points but other than that thats more or less what it is.
As I said I have met one or two friends on Friendster.com which I have been in contact despite having 5 other friends on my list who I have never contacted or heard from.
I am not really sure whetherThe way you add more friends is that you have to email at their personal email address and then they choose whether to accept you or not. You can usually get peoples email address's from within their profile or by sending them a message requesting to become their friend.
I would suggest this site to anyone to make new friends but as its completely free I can't see it hurting anyone by giving it a try.
The site is very well set out but the way they design peoples profiles on the site are a little strange and can be a little confusing to read but other than that I think its a very well designed website.
For anyone who decides to sign up to Friendster and would like to add me to their friends network please feel free to send me a private guestbook message and I would be happy to give you my email address to add to your list.
