Advantages: Cordless and reasonably priced Disadvantages: A bit heavy
Kettles are like light bulbs? you know they are going to need replacing one day.
When I do set out to buy a new one, I do no research the market like I would a new television or PC, but I guess I do require one to be cheap (but not too cheap) and ?sort of? cool looking. I found this with the Frigidaire FCL-G362.
When I got divorced I did not leave the marital home with much ? I was glad to depart with my sanity intact, to be honest (I think I did anyway, keep my sanity). I won?t go into the whole divorce thing too deeply here, but I left with a few bits and bobs and these included the kettle. You could say I got custody of that old white Philips. It came with me to the flat I now reside in alone (save for when the kids come and stay at weekend). It made many a cup of coffee and boiled many a nip of water for a hot toddy. I can?t say ...
Advantages: Acres of space in the fridge, A rating Engery Disadvantages: can be noisy at times, not the biggest of freezers
-- Background --
We have always had seperate fridges and freezers for the past 10 years. The last fridge we bought was a bit of a panic buy as we were in the middle of a heatwave and the fridge we had at the time blew up. Advantages: Light weight, compact, superb picture quality, broad range of applications Disadvantages: None
I have to say it was a dificult decision for me in buying a top of the range compact digital camera. My original idea was to replace my Nikon compact that i have had for 4 or 5 years . I have also got an SLR and all the associated lenses adaptors and all the gizmos you can think of.My aim was to buy a digi SLR to replace the 2 cameras. but as i looked into it i eventually decided that some of the bridge cameras met all my needs and i finally made the decision that i did not want to carry all those flippin lenses around.I really like taking pictures of wildlife and scenery so either i would have to buy a very expensive zoom lens or carry 2 (at least)lenses with me at all times.after studying magazines and talking to various people with top of the range digi cameras of various makes (Fuji,Samsung, kodak etc.)I decided on the FZ28.
May i ...
